This stunning 19th Century French brass framed wall mirror in the Neoclassical style features a nicely detailed handsome face of a lion at the top with acanthus leaf scrolls and another lion face at the bottom with a trio of candle holders. The mirror is beautifully decorated around the sides with laurel wreath and is fitted with the original bevelled mirror which is in lovely condition with some light flecks of foxing.

This mirror is a nice size to fit in an alcove, cloakroom or to add to a collection of mirrors.

Frame is cast in heavy brass.

Period: Late 19th Century.

Weight: 2.85 Kilos.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Frame has not been polished so has natural tarnishing and a nice patina. Some foxing and light fleck marks to mirror. Please see pictures.
