This antique spirit hip flask which has a detachable silver plated cup and hinged flip / bayonet top has the outer of the top half covered in stylish light and dark brown coloured snakeskin leather with a sight level on both sides and is in excellent usable condition.

The flask is by James Dixon and retailed by Reed of Cambridge. It has the Clare College Cambridge logo / motto engraved on one side of the cup and the initials HEC in decorative script on the other.

The flask is a nice size so slips nicely into a pocket and has a wonderful tactile feel.

A nice clean and usable flask which is unusual having the snakeskin leather and would make a wonderful gift.

Condition: In excellent condition with only very light signs of use in keeping with age. A very clean and tidy flask. No breaks, dents or damage to silver plate. The hinged lid closes well and a new cork has been fitted so no leaks. The cup slides on and off of the flask well and stays firmly in place. The leather is in perfect condition. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Please see pictures.
