This wonderful travelling campaign desk dates from the late 19th century, is made of a lovely rich mahogany wood and is in it's original condition. The desk has a mahogany X frame support that folds securely to store it when not being used. When opened the desk has an original fitted leatherette interior with pockets and an inkwell.

This beautiful folding desk comes from the estate of artist Philippa Bradstock of Longbottom House, Biddesden, Hampshire who was married to Captain David Bradstock MC.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Has wonderful patina and colour. The desk folds and unfolds well and securely. The interior leatherette has some fading, marks, tears and scuffs consistent with age and use. Some surface scratches. Please see pictures.
