This handsome Art Deco set of oak bookends date from the 1930's and are in the form of cricket stumps with each one having a mini bat and ball. These were handmade by the Thornton-Smith Company in the 1930's and have excellent detail.

A very nice quality sporting item that looks wonderful on display and would make an ideal gift for a cricket fan. Would look great in a sports bar, mancave or office.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with some light signs of use in keeping with age. A couple of small nibbles, chips and bruises. Please see pictures.
