These two antique pewter spill vases with a cricketer are by Joseph Deakin & Sons, Sheffield and are rare items of cricket memorabilia dating from c1880.

These interesting items which have nice detail in the pads, cap and even creases in the trousers and shirt would have been silver plated when new but this has worn over time leaving a patinated pewter finish.

Would make an interesting addition to a collection of cricket memorabilia and looks wonderful on display.
