This interesting cricket trophy which was made using the leather cricket ball used in the match in 1924 bears a silver shield plaque that reads Brooklands C LT & H C. 10 wickets for 26 Runs. May 17th 1924.
This trophy was awarded as a prize at Brooklands Cricket Lawn Tennis and Hockey Club which was based in Sale, near Manchester.
A very nice decorative trophy that would be an excellent addition to a collection of cricket memorabilia and looks wonderful on display.
Weight: 200 g total.
Condition: Good antique condition with some wear and fading to ball. Silver plaque is in good condition with wear to the inscription, small marks and tarnish. Please see pictures.
