This antique silver plated wine or Champagne cooler which is of excellent quality is by top French silversmith Ercuis, dates from the 1930's and is a very nice heavy weight.
This stylish wine cooler has shell design side handles and a ring decoration to the lower body.
Ercuis are a top French silversmith who made silver plated barware to use onboard the prestigious liner SS Normandie in it's first class dining room and bar in the 1930's. Other clients of theirs include major hotels on the Cote d'Azur and Paris, airlines and the Orient Express.
A wonderful quality and usable barware item that will also look stunning on display.

Condition: Very good used original antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and some light wear. The inside is clean with a few spots, marks and wear. A few tiny dings. Please see pictures.
