This handsome and useful golfing trophy is in the form of an Art Deco chrome cylindrical desk top perpetual calendar. The calendar is mounted on a bakelite base with a golf club and ball. There is a silver/white metal plaque along the front which has an interesting inscription that reads "D. Beevor. Joannides Trophy. May 1935".

The calendar displays the day, date and month together with the number of days there are in each month and is marked to the side - U.S.patent no.1658649 & patent no. 253845.

This interesting and unusual golf themed desk calendar would make a unique collectors piece and gift for a golf fan.

Materials: Chrome, bakelite and Silver.

Date: 1935.

The plaque is not hallmarked but tests as silver.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some age related wear and light scratches. Calendar works well. Some of the days have some fading.
