This very special set of antique novelty golf themed tea spoons and sugar tongs set is by leading English silversmiths Mappin and Webb. Each one is made of solid hallmarked silver and date from 1896. All 6 spoons have a golf club handle and the tongs have a golf club on each side.

This set of very rare spoons come complete in the original silk and velvet lined presentation case complete with the Royal Warrant, Mappin and Webb Silversmiths to The Queen Sheffield & London.

This unusual and rare set which date from when Queen Victoria was on the throne would make a wonderful gift for any silver collector or golf lover.

Size: Spoons measure approx 11 1/2 cms long and the tongs measure approx 8 1/2 cms long.

Weight: 84.4 grams for the silver spoons and tongs only.

Material: Hallmarked solid silver. Sheffield. Date 1896. Maker's mark for Mappin and Webb.

Condition: Good used antique condition. Signs of use in keeping with age. Spoons have some light scratches and slight twisting. Box is a little tatty on the exterior with marks and wear.
