This rare Victorian novelty golfing desk stand is made of silver plate by Joseph Rodgers & Sons and dates from 1858 - 1871.

This wonderful antique stand has a figure of a gentleman golfer who has just taken a swing to the top that has very nice detail, two beautiful quality glass inkwells which have hinged silver plate covers and collars and a pen holder in the form of a rustic fence. The stand sits nicely on four feet which are in the form of golf balls.

This fantastic desk accessory would make a unique collectors piece for a golf fan, is a good usable desk accessory and looks wonderful on display.
