This gorgeous leather suitcase is extremely heavy, well made, strong and durable being made from high quality selected cowhide leather.
The size and quality of the case is excellent with a good depth of 24.5 cm, length of 72 cm and width of 41 cm. A very usable case but also ideal for home decor, shop display or photography / film prop as it is so beautiful.
The leather has a wonderful aged look with a warm patina and a golden rich colour. Both locks/clasps are stamped 'British Lever' and work OK but we do not have the key. The leather interior lining is in very nice condition and is complete with the original straps.
There are original old labels on the sides and the top is monogrammed B.D.

Condition: Beautiful used antique condition with a wonderful patina and warm rich colour. Age related wear with scuffs, scrapes and light cracking. The case is very sound and usable. Good stitching, strong handle and corners. The brass locks have been partly cleaned. The interior is in very nice condition with just a little staining. Both clasps work but we do not have the key.
