This handsome pair of antique / vintage Indian clubs or exercise meels which date from the first half of the 1900s weigh approx 350 grams each and are approx 45 cm in length.

These two clubs each of which are handmade have two lots of 3 rings carved to the body part and are made of pine. There are slight variations between the two as they are handmade.

These attractive items of antique sporting equipment make super decorative display items for the home, gym or a bar and unusual sports collectors items.

Indian clubs are a type of exercise equipment used for developing strength. They were swung in certain patterns as part of an exercise program and were popular in the late 1900s and early 20th century.
