This interesting antique silver box is by silversmith Hilliard & Thomason, dates from 1904 and was originally presented as a first prize trophy at Hendon & Cricklewood Rifle Club in 1906 by H.S.H Princess Louise of Schleswig-Holstein.
This wonderful silver box is wood lined and it's top has an fascinating inscription that reads:
First Prize For Shooting Competition.
Hendon & Cricklewood Rifle Club.
Won by Alec John Mousley
4th June 1906.

& presented by
H.S.H Princess Louise of Schleswig-Holstein.
A very nice quality and unique item that can be used as a cigarette box, trinket/cufflink box or desk box which looks wonderful on display. The middle wood divider can be removed so it could be used to hold a pack of playing cards.
