This stylish and unusual Victorian silver handled paper / page turner is beautifully crafted by renowned silversmith Sampson Mordan. It is very unusual as one end also features a magnifying glass which is in perfect working condition.

The beautifully designed silver handle with magnifying glass is fully hallmarked for 1894 and is joined to a creamy white blade which has a wonderful colour and grain.

It bears an interesting presentation inscription "Presented by J. Kidd Junior Esquire" to one side and to the other side “Bugler Best Bloodhound in the show Dundee 1895.”

Length: 32 cm - 13" approx.

In good used antique condition. Signs of use in keeping with age. Light scratches and a few very small dings to silver. Blade has a few nibbles. The blade wiggles slightly in the handle but it is secure. Glass is in perfect condition.
