This stunning 19th century Chinese Export silver cigarette case is beautifully decorated with fine raised detail in the form of a dragon scrolling across both the front and the back of the case.

The wonderfully tactile case is of very fine quality, a good heavy gauge, there are maker's hallmarks to the inside and the original cigarette retainer clips.

A wonderful and decorative piece of Chinese silver that feels heavy in the hand.

Date: Late 19th century.

Hallmarks: Marks to the inside of the sprung mechanism. Please see pictures.

Weight: 120 grams approx.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. One very small pin head ding to one of the corners. Some light scratches and wear. Interior appears to have remains of worn gilt.
