This lovely Sterling Silver golfing trophy cup is by Deakin & Francis and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1928.

The silver cup which is designed as a bowl perched on three golf clubs each with a golf ball has an interesting inscription that reads "Scopes Challenge Cup 1933".

This interesting cup would make a unique collectors piece for a golf fan.

Material: Solid Silver.

Date: 1928.

Hallmark: Lion for Sterling Silver. Anchor for Birmingham. Date letter D for 1928 and maker's mark D & F for Deakin & Francis.

Size: Height - 9 cm (3.5") approx. Width - 7 1/2 cm (3") approx at widest point.

Weight: 83 grams approx.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only very light signs of use in keeping with age. One minute ding to cup. The base of the cup is slightly uneven.
