This wonderfully tactile spirit hip flask which has a detachable solid silver cup and bayonet hinged flip top is made by silversmith William Aitken in 1901.

The outer of the top half is covered in rich dark brown genuine leather, there is a sight level on both sides and the flask is a nice medium size so it slips into a pocket nicely, making it a wonderfully tactile and usable item.

The detachable cup has a gilded interior. The bayonet top cap seals well and does not leak.

A lovely usable item that feels wonderful in the hand and would make a stunning antique sporting gift.
