Antique Miniature The Book of Common Prayer with Solid Silver Slipcase 1892.

This stunning Victorian miniature copy of "The Book of Common Prayer" is complete with it's original silver slipcase which dates from 1892.

The exquisite narrow solid silver slipcase is of a hammered arts and crafts design and holds the original red morocco leather covered prayer book which has gold gilt lettering and all page edges gold gilt. A magnificent rare piece of Victorian silver. The silver cover is fully hallmarked for London 1892 and has a swing handle link probably for attaching to a chatelaine.
