This fantastic antique Sorcerer's mirror has a round mahogany frame and is very unusual as it has a blue glass plate with nine small convex mirror lenses to one side and an original plain mirror to the other side. The mirror glass in the plain side is slightly distressed and foxed which gives an attractive look. The mahogany frame has boxwood inlay on both sides.
Sorcerer's mirrors are unusual and scarce items. This wonderful mirror looks fantastic on display and is a wonderful collector's piece.
Date: Victorian - Late 1800s.
Size: 15 cm (6") approx diameter.
Weight: 194 grams.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Frame is in good condition with a few marks. Blue glass plate is in excellent condition with just a little foxing. Mirror glass in the other side is in excellent condition with some light silvering / foxing and light marks giving an attractive distressed look.
