This handsome antique desk tidy which is made of walnut veneer on mahogany sits on 4 stylish feet and has a central stags head which is made of silver plate that can hold pens between it's antlers.

The two square glass inkwells which have silver plated collars sit on either side of the stag head and are nicely set into the top. The stand also has a recessed pen tray, a fitted bottom drawer that has a decorative silver plated handle and the top plate has a blank area for engraving.

This unusual desk accessory which dates from c1880 looks wonderful on a desk and would make a great gift.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age and a nice patina. The glass inkwells do have a few nibbles and one has a bruise to a corner. Please see pictures.
