This original vintage leather football is a very nice item of football memorabilia that dates from around the 1940's.

The unusual football is a 12 panel design ball with seamed panels and has the 5 pairs of lace slit holes with laces. There is a bladder inside which is inflated. The word 'Rover' can be faintly seen on one panel.

Size of the ball is approx 66 cm / 25 1/2" circumference.

Condition: Good used vintage condition. Signs of use with scuffs and scrapes. Leather has cracking and some areas of wear. The bladder is holding air. There is a hole in the back which may have been added at a later date to use a newer type of bladder. Please see pictures.
