This handsome khaki polo pith helmet which dates from c1940 is made in India and has the original label to the inside which reads: Polo Brand. Registered Trade Mark. Specially made for B. Shewaram Bros. Silk House. Coonoor and Kodaikanal.

This decorative and collectable helmet that is made of straw with a khaki canvas covering has seen lots of play with a well used patina so looks excellent on display and would make a super item for a polo club, shop or prop.
