This fabulous silver plated meat cover which dates from c1830 is made by George Richmond Collis & Co, is an extra large size, a really heavy gauge and has an ornate removable handle fitted to the top.
This fine quality meat dome has a plain body, the front is engraved with a Unicorn family crest, marked with the maker's marks and has braided edging running around the skirt approx 6 cm from the bottom.
A very nice usable extra large meat dome that would make a fabulous centrepiece for your dinner table.

Condition: Very good usable antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some shallow bruises, dings, marks and scratches. The inside has wear and tarnish around the centre. The handle has wear to the silver plate. Please see pictures.
