This antique wooden head shaped wig / hat block which is a wonderful dark brown colour has accumulated lots of pin holes and wear over the years giving it a stunning patina and would be super for displaying wigs, hats, fascinators and other headwear.

This milliner's wooden hat block is marked to the front with the number 56 and would have originally been used to make and shape hats or wigs. It still has lots of pins in the wood where they would have secured the headpieces. Today this would make a wonderful decorative display piece.

Condition: Wonderful decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. The usual pin, pin holes, splits, cracks and lots of age related wear leaving a wonderful patina and look. No woodworm. Please see pictures.
