This wonderful Silver Plated tray by Townshend Acanthus Gongs dates from the late 19th century and is in the Arts and Crafts style.

This heavy tray which has a stunning textured design with distinctive heavily raised and curled edges is a useful size for serving drinks or food but also looks fantastic on display.

Makers mark to the base Townshend & Co Trade Mark Acanthus plus with the Reg mark 226032 and the Gongs Mark.
