This pair of antique shinpads which date from c1910 are made of leather, have canvas backs, straps, have bamboo tube stiffeners inside and are approx 30 cm (12") high.

These shin pads rare unusual having the ankle and top foot protection sections and would make fantastic display items to go with a collection of football memorabilia.

Note: The catalogue image is of a pair of very similar pads advertised in a 1910 Acton & Co sports catalogue but without the foot part.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with some areas of wear, rubbing and staining. Leather is dried out and scuffed. All straps and buckles are present. Please see pictures.
