This fascinating original antique photograph of a fencer would have been taken by Charles Chambon who was a recognised French photographer from Bordeaux, France and is mounted on card which is embossed with his name.

The back has a beautiful hand written inscription which reads souvenir affectueux. Reni. mars 1910 which means in loving memory of Reni. March 1910.

An interesting item of fencing memorabilia.
