These four highly decorative antique lithographs which are from the French publication Le Moniteur de la Cordonnerie in the late 19th century have wonderful colour and display very well.
Moniteur de la Cordonnerie was a Parisian shoemaker's trade magazine.
These rare original fashion prints feature footwear designs which include both ladies and men's shoes, boots, slippers and ice skating boots. These were published in four different catalogues (1 March 1888, 1 April 1888, 1 March 1892 and 1 November 1892) and some bear the designer's signatures.
A very nice decorative set of four 19th century prints that are mounted, framed and glazed in new simple black frames and would look amazing hung in a shoe shop, vintage clothes store, hotel, shop or also in the home.
