This fascinating glass eye which comes in it's original Paris ocularist box dates from the mid 1900's and is an interesting curio.

The glass eye which was hand blown has the pupil and the iris blown into the glass and is finished with hand painted blood vessels on the eyeball.

The original box has the ocularist details on the lid with the Paris address and comes with the prescription details inside.

An interesting collector's piece.

Date: Mid 1900's.

Dimensions of box: Diameter: 3.5 cm (1 1/2"). Height: 2 cm (3/4").

Condition: Excellent antique condition with some light wear to the box and paper. Please see pictures.
