This handsome antique leather hat case which dates from c1900 has a padded insert, silk lining and is well made of thick quality leather.

This great looking Victorian hat box has nice detail such as a sturdy leather carrying handle, a brass name plate, brass lock plate, a holding strap and inner straps.

A very nice hat storage case so is ideal for keeping hats safe but is also ideal for home decor, shop display or photography / film prop. The clasp and lock do not work so the case cannot be carried by the handle but still a beautiful case for hat storage and display.

Dimensions: External Width: 35 cm (13 3/4"). External Depth: 31 cm (12 1/4"). External Height (not including top carrying handle): 25.5 cm (10").

Weight: 2.3 kg.

Condition: Beautiful antique condition with age related wear with scuffs and scrapes leaving a wonderful patina. The interior is in good condition but with fading to lining. Leather carry handle in excellent sound condition. The clasp and lock do not work so the case cannot be carried by the handle but still a beautiful case for hat storage and display.
