This antique head shaped hat / wig block which is made of solid wood has a wonderful patina with a dark brown colour.

This milliner's wooden hat block which is a good size is marked with the number 56 and would have originally been used to make and shape hats or wigs.

With the stunning patina and lots of age related wear this would now make an interesting decorative display piece and would be ideal for displaying headwear.

Condition: Wonderful decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. The usual pin holes, splits, cracks and lots of age related wear leaving a wonderful patina and look. No woodworm. Please see pictures.
