This antique / vintage size 5 T panel football which is made of soft leather has 6 pairs of lace holes fitted with cord laces and has a bladder fitted so inflates and holds it's shape well for display.

This football is a similar type of ball that was used in the first half of the first World Cup final between Argentina and Uruguay in 1930.

The first World Cup final saw Argentina and Uruguay fail to agree on which ball they should use, so Argentina's ball was used in the opening half, and Uruguay's in the second. Details of the match along with pictures of the original football can be found on Wikipedia.

A very nice original vintage football that has lots of wear giving it a great patina.

Condition: Very good decorative antique / vintage condition with age related wear, scuffs, holes, marks and a nice patina. A bladder is fitted which is inflated. Please see pictures.
