This stunning antique shotgun cartridge case which is made from high quality brown leather dates from the late 19th century.
The handsome leather case has a wonderful rich patina and is very well made with brass lock/clasp and a strong exterior strap which also acts as a carrying handle.
The interior is divided into 5 compartments which are fitted with leather lifting straps, has an Army & Navy Co-Operative Society Limited. No. 8 Gun Department. 105, Victoria Street, Westminster, London S.W label and the outside is nicely monogrammed with J.R.B.B to the top.
This handsome case is ideal for home decor, a shop display such as a hunting shop, stables, bar or photography / film prop as it has such a wonderful look.
