This full set of French silver plated knife rests which date from c1920 have a wonderful Art Deco design and represent twelve different sporting and Olympic activities.

This antique set of knife rests is designed by Pierre Devouge and each are marked with the maker's mark of PD.

The activities are: motor racing, motorbike racing, horse racing, boxing, wrestling, ice hockey, rugby, dance, swimming / diving, ice skating, bowling / curling and hurdles.

A sought after set that look very nice on display and would make a great collectible for a knife rest collector or would make a wonderful gift for a sporting enthusiast. Unusual to have a set of 12.
