This high quality wine or Champagne cooler which is made of silver plate is by top French silversmith Christofle and dates from the middle of the 20th century.

This fabulous vintage cooler is from Christofle's Malmaison collection and is in excellent condition.

This sought after wine bucket which has a stylish look has two finely decorated side handles, sits on it's stepped raised base, marked to the underside with the Christofle maker's marks and is a high quality and heavy piece.

A fine quality usable piece of vintage French barware that displays wonderfully.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: Mid 20th century.

Maker: Christofle, France.

Marks: Marked to base with the maker's marks for Christofle: Christofle France. The Christofle Chess piece OC mark.

Dimensions: Diameter:19 cm (7 1/2"). Diameter including side handles: 25 cm (10"). Height: 23 cm (9").
