This vintage silver plated ice bucket which is made by top French silversmith Christofle dates from the mid 20th century and is of excellent quality.

This stylish ice pail is the Ormesson model from Christofle's Gallia collection, has two stylish shell design side handles, a top swing carrying handle, sits on it's raised base and is a good heavy weight.

The underside is marked with it's maker's marks for Christofle Gallia, the inside is nice and clean and this ice pail comes with it's removable trivet drip tray which is also marked with it's maker's marks.

A beautiful French ice bucket by a top maker that will make a very nice addition to a barware collection.

Marks: Marked to base with the maker's marks for Christofle: Christofle France. The Christofle Chess piece OC mark. Collection Gallia. Also marked to inside trivet with Gallia Rooster and OC Balance marks.

Weight: 624 g.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only some light surface scratches. The inside is nice and clean. Please see pictures.
