This antique trophy bowl which is made of English Oak has a silver plated rim, is by JB Chatterley & Sons Ltd and dates from c1900.
This handsome bowl is filled with 12 vintage red leather cricket balls, has two silver plated side handles, sits on it's wooden foot and has a vacant shield cartouche which could be engraved if you so wished.
This wooden bowl makes a handsome display piece filled with the cricket balls so is ideal for a cricket enthusiast, sports bar or prop.

Condition: Very nice decorative condition with signs of use and wear with a wonderful look. Some age related shrinkage. The silver plate has some light wear and light surface scratches. The balls which are various ages and sizes have lots of wear and tear. Please see pictures.
