This interesting Cricket Trophy which was made using the original ball from the match played in 1950 bears a hallmarked sterling silver band around the centre that reads "19.8.50. Yorkshire Council. Sheffield United v Collegiate. Ken Lee performed the Hat Trick with this Ball".

The silver band is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1950.

A very nice quality trophy that would be an excellent addition to a collection of cricket memorabilia and looks wonderful on display.

Hallmark: Lion for Sterling Silver. H.A for Atkin Bros. Crown for Sheffield. Date letter H for 1950.

Weight: 169 g total.

Well used vintage condition with signs of use and wear to ball with a wonderful patina. The ball was used in the match. Silver band is in very good condition. Please see pictures.
