This handsome Edwardian tan croc leather jewellery box which is by H. Greaves of Birmingham dates from the beginning of the 20th century.

The interior of the box has beautiful light brown velvet lining, with a velvet cushion that sits in the bottom. The top layer is hinged so opens out to form 2 side compartments for your jewellery and trinkets. The inside edges are embossed in gold with the retailer's name of H. Greaves, New Street. Birmingham and it's registered design number of 509337 which dates to 1908. The metal lock does not lock and we do not have a key.

This beautiful quality jewellery box is a very nice usable item that would look wonderful on a dressing table and would make a special gift.
