This excellent quality vintage wine cooler which is made of silver plate is by top French silversmith Ercuis, marked to the base with their maker's marks and has a beautiful stylish design.

This stylish Champagne cooler is a good heavy weight, has two ribbed shell design side handles and has an unusual fluted design to the top edge.

Ercuis are a top French silversmith who made silver plated barware to use onboard the prestigious liner SS Normandie in it's first class dining room and bar in the 1930's. Other clients of theirs include major hotels on the Cote d'Azur and Paris, airlines and the Orient Express.

A quality piece of vintage barware that would look stylish on display in a home bar, hotel or restaurant.

Marked: Marked to base with the Ercuis and the maker's marks for Ercuis. 76. 30.

Condition: Very good original vintage condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches. The inside is nice and clean with just a few light scratches. Please see pictures.
