This handsome vintage black leather playing card / bridge box which is made by British luxury leather goods maker Finnigans of Manchester, Liverpool & London is in very nice condition.

Finnigan was one of the finest British leather goods makers and retailer in the 19th century and had a customer base of American millionaires such as the Rockefellers, the Vanderbilts and the Fords.

This card box dates from the second quarter of the 20th century and is marked with the maker's details to the inside edge.

The box is fitted with a green silk lined top and leather interior that is fitted to hold 2 packs of cards. This comes complete with 2 full sets of Waddington playing cards each with one joker, a Royal Auction Bridge notebook & instructions and pencils.

A very fine playing card box that is in great condition so is an ideal gift for a Bridge enthusiast.
