This fabulous and attractive folk art windmill which is made of scrap wood and metal would have been lovingly made by hand during the first half of the 20th century.
The windmill which is a wooden central house has 4 metal painted rotating blades and a metal tailfin with painted sides that feature the Belgium flag which is from where this windmill originated.
This fascinating piece has a wonderful rustic feel with flaky paint showing years of aging and wear which gives it a great look.
A unique decorative piece of scratch built folk art that would make a show piece for a shop window display, florist, bar, hotel, restaurant etc or prop. Would also look amazing on display in your garden and is a great talking piece. There is a hole in the base for mounting on a pole.
