This handsome wooden French desk box is in the shape of a 1930's football and has very nice carved detail with the ball being based on a 12 panel leather football. The box stands on it's square wooden base and the top half of the pot lifts off to reveal a charming inscription which reads To my good friend. Souvenir.

This box is a very nice quality piece with a beautiful patina and a wonderful tactile feel. Would make a nice gift for a football enthusiast or would look great on display in a shop, sports bar or prop.
