This near pair of antique / vintage foundry melting pots which originated in France are made of lava stone and one is marked to the inside with the foundry details.

This highly decorative pair of rustic pots have a great look with remnants of the past and would have originally been used in a French foundry for melting metals. Today these make wonderful garden planters or can be displayed indoors as a decorative piece.

Material: Lava stone.

Approx dimensions of each: Diameter: 29 cm (11 1/2"). Height: 35 cm (13 3/4").

Total weight for the two: Nearly 22 Kg.

Condition: Original antique condition with wear and patina leaving a wonderful decorative look. All over chips and knocks. One of the pots is marked to the inside with the foundry details but cannot be read clearly. Hole in the bottoms. Please see pictures.
