This handsome French umbrella / walking stick stand which is made of cast iron is marked with the maker's detail for Godin and dates from the late 19th century.

This stick stand has a stylish faux bamboo effect design with a carrying handle and a drip tray base that sits on three feet. The stand has a charming country house feel with several layers of aged white paint and the piece has a good heavy weight.

A very nice usable antique piece that would look great in the entrance of a grand home, hotel or shop for displaying your walking sticks and umbrellas.
