This wonderful antique golf trophy which is made of solid sterling silver has handles designed as a golf club with a laurel wreath either side and is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1929.

This heavy gauge silver trophy by top silversmith Walker and Hall is blank on both sides so could be engraved.

This handsome golfing trophy would make a decorative collector's piece for a golf enthusiast.

Hallmarked: Lion sterling mark. Crown for Sheffield. Date letter m for 1929 and maker's mark W&H for Walker and Hall.

Dimensions: Height: 17 cm (6 3/4"). Width at top of clubs: 13.5 cm (5 1/2").

Weight: 290 g.

Condition: Very good antique / vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Silver has some tarnish marks and light surface scratches. A few shallow bruises. Please see pictures.
