This unusual and decorative wall clock which has a beautifully painted dial dates from the 18th century and is by JS Coates, Stourbridge.

The handsome dial which is very heavy would have once been part of an impressive Grandfather clock and has Arabic numerals.

This clock which has been fitted with a modern battery operated quartz movement for convenience looks wonderful on display and can be wall hung or placed on a shelf. The small dial hands do not work.

Condition: Good used decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some marks, surface scratches and wear that all add to the look. The movement is a newly fitted modern battery operated quartz and the hands are replacements but are the same style as what would have been used originally. Please see pictures.
