This handsome fire bucket which was hand made in the 19th century is made from thick high quality leather, has a wonderful aged patina and painted red underside.

This top quality bucket has a studded copper band around the top, copper studs around the bottom edge and also down the two side seams. The leather handle has two large metal rings.

A great looking antique bucket with lots of age related wear and a beautiful patina that would look great in the home and ideal for using as a waste paper bin / basket.

Materials: Leather. Copper.

Date: 19th century.

Dimensions: Diameter at top of opening: 28 cm (11"). Height to top of bucket: 30 cm (11 3/4"). Plus handles.

Weight: 2.150 kg.

Condition: Good decorative antique condition with age related wear, scuffs, scrapes, cracks and all over wear leaving a wonderful patina. A repair to the leather where the metal ring connects to the bucket. Please see pictures.
