This handsome pair of antique silver Princes plate salts are made by Mappin & Webb, come in their original Mappin & Webb case and come with 2 small salt spoons that are made of silver plate and are by James Dixon & Sons.

Materials: Silver plate.

Hallmarked:

Salts - Triple Deposit. Mappin & Webb. Princes Plate. London & Sheffield. Date letter I in shield for 1910-1911. W4826.

Spoons - Makers mark of JD & S & Trumpet for James Dixon & Sons.

Date: 1910-1911.

Maker: Salts - Mappin & Webb. Spoons - James Dixon & Co.

Diameter - 5.5 cm (2 1/4").

Height - 3 cm (1 1/4").

Total weight including case: 266 grams.

Condition: Salts and spoons in excellent antique condition with only very light signs of use in keeping with age. Box has some light staining, marks and ink on silk lining and does not stay shut. Please see pictures.
