This wonderful antique rowing trophy which is made of silver plate has a top cup that has an an interesting inscription reading: Muckamore Athletic Sports Easter Monday 1879. 1st Prize. 440 Yds Hurdle Race. Won by John Kirkpatrick.

This cup is supported by four oars which have a laurel wreath entwined and rest on a boater hat.

A stylish and quality antique piece that would make a unique collectors piece for a rowing sports enthusiast.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: 1879.

Marks: Marked with the maker's mark to the underside of the cup.

Dimensions: Width: 9.5 cm (3 3/4"). Depth: 8.5 cm (3 1/4"). Height: 20 cm (8").

Weight: 380 g.

Condition: Good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. All over wear to silver plating, some scratches, tarnishing and marks. Staining to the inside of the cup. Please see pictures.
